Diagnostic
A calibrated baseline test, taken solo, that maps exactly where you stand across HR strategy, leadership, talent planning, and organizational risk before you study anything.
SPHR Exam Comparison
HRCI's own resources are the authoritative source. Edureify measures whether you've actually absorbed them.
Edureify and HRCI solve different halves of SPHR preparation. HRCI gives you material to work through. Edureify adds the parts it leaves out: diagnostic baseline test, predictive readiness score and adaptive daily roadmap. The practical difference is that you finish with a predicted ready-by date instead of a completion percentage. Pick HRCI if you mainly need content at the lowest price, and Edureify if you need to know when you are actually ready to sit the exam.
Exam SPHR — Senior Professional in Human Resources Features compared 8 HRCI ~$700–$1,200 Edureify $49–$599 Updated 15 September 2026
The SPHR is HRCI's senior, strategy-focused HR credential, covering leadership and strategy, talent planning and acquisition, learning and development, total rewards, and employee relations at a strategic rather than tactical level. Eligibility requires more senior experience than PHR (e.g., four years with a master's degree, up to seven with no degree). The exam is 115 scored questions over 3.5 hours, and most candidates spend three to four months preparing, given its emphasis on strategic judgment over operational recall.
Edureify runs on one loop: a Diagnostic maps exactly where you stand across HR strategy, leadership, talent planning, and organizational risk before you study anything, an adaptive Roadmap turns that into a day-by-day plan weighted toward your actual gaps, a self-paced Practice Loop of questions, mock exams, and spaced review builds mastery topic by topic, and an Intervention layer steps in the moment your progress stalls. Every session feeds back into a live Readiness Score that predicts when you'll be exam-ready and names the specific topics still holding you back — not a completion percentage frozen at the end of a course.
A calibrated baseline test, taken solo, that maps exactly where you stand across HR strategy, leadership, talent planning, and organizational risk before you study anything.
A day-by-day plan built from your diagnostic and rebuilt automatically as you progress — weighted toward your actual gaps, not a generic syllabus.
Practice questions, mock exams, and spaced-repetition review, self-paced, with mastery tracked across HR strategy, leadership, talent planning, and organizational risk.
A live score with a predicted ready-by date and the specific topics still dragging it down, recalculated after every session.
Edureify also runs as a team platform for L&D leaders: every team member gets the same self-paced diagnostic-to-readiness loop, and managers get a live dashboard showing each person's Readiness Score, predicted ready-by date, and what's specifically holding them back — plus a portfolio view for reporting on SPHR readiness across the whole team.
HRCI, which owns and administers SPHR, publishes its own official study guides, practice exams, and instructor-led review courses mapped directly to the exam content outline. As the source of the exam itself, alignment is guaranteed.
What HRCI's own materials don't provide is individualized, tracked readiness over time — official guides are reference material, and review courses run on a fixed schedule with a shared curriculum, not adapted to your specific comprehension gaps.
Edureify's curriculum is built on the same HRCI content outline, but the Diagnostic identifies specifically which of HR strategy, leadership, talent planning, and organizational risk is still unclear, and the roadmap keeps you there until your Readiness Score improves — which reading official guides alone doesn't measure.
HRCI's official guides are authoritative, but reading reference material and being measurably ready for a scored exam are different things.
