Most PMP failures come from just 1–2 weak domains. This test finds yours — by name — so you know exactly where to focus.
3
Gives you a pass-ready date and daily plan
Your report includes a predicted date you'll cross the 90% readiness threshold and a day-by-day study schedule built around your gaps.

Frequently asked questions

How hard is the PMP exam really? +
The PMP is genuinely difficult - not because it tests obscure facts, but because every question is a scenario where multiple answers look correct. The exam tests judgment, not recall. Most candidates who fail do so because they study PMBOK definitions instead of practicing the situational thinking the exam actually rewards. If you've been a working PM for years and you're still failing practice tests, the problem is mindset, not knowledge.
How many questions are on the PMP exam and how long do I have? +
The PMP exam has 180 questions with a 230-minute time limit - that's about 77 seconds per question. Around 50% of questions are predictive (waterfall) and 50% are agile or hybrid. There are two optional 10-minute breaks built in. Five questions are unscored field-test items, so 175 of your answers actually count.
What is the PMP passing score in 2024–2025? +
PMI does not publish a fixed passing score. The PMP uses a proficiency-based model across three domains: People (42%), Process (50%), and Business Environment (8%). Your result is reported as Above Target, Target, Below Target, or Needs Improvement per domain - not as a percentage. Most serious candidates who prepare properly clear the exam, but there is no magic number to hit.
How long does it take to prepare for the PMP? +
Most candidates spend 8–12 weeks studying if they work full-time. The required 35 contact hours of project management education can be completed in 1–2 weeks through an accredited course. The real preparation is scenario-based practice - 200 to 400 quality practice questions is a reasonable minimum before sitting the exam.
What's the difference between PMP and PRINCE2? +
PMP is a competency certification that tests how you think as a project manager across any methodology. PRINCE2 is a framework-specific certification that tests your knowledge of a prescriptive governance process. PMP is more widely recognized globally, especially in North America. PRINCE2 dominates in the UK and parts of Europe. If your employer or clients specify one, follow their preference.
Can I self-study for the PMP without a training course? +
You need 35 contact hours of formal PM education to apply - self-study alone doesn't satisfy this requirement. However, once you've completed the hours, the actual exam preparation can be done independently using practice question banks and the PMBOK Guide. The 35-hour requirement can be fulfilled through online bootcamps, many of which are available for under $500.
