Udemy's appeal for AWS Developer Associate prep is the price — self-paced video courses, often taught by well-known independent instructors, covering AWS application development — deployment, security, and cloud-native troubleshooting at a fraction of official training rates. Several Udemy AWS Developer Associate courses are genuinely excellent and widely recommended by past candidates.
The gap is the same one that shows up across any self-paced marketplace: a video course can't tell you specifically which of AWS application development — deployment, security, and cloud-native troubleshooting you're actually weak in. You finish the course knowing you watched everything, not knowing whether you've retained enough to pass.
Edureify's Diagnostic maps your understanding across AWS application development — deployment, security, and cloud-native troubleshooting on day one, and the Readiness Score keeps updating as you practice — so instead of a vague sense of completion, you get a specific, evolving answer.

Yes. Most candidates who switch start with a diagnostic on the new platform so their remaining study time is spent on actual gaps rather than repeating material they have already covered.
Many candidates pass using a well-reviewed Udemy course plus practice exams, but a video course can't tell you specifically which of AWS application development — deployment, security, and cloud-native troubleshooting you're actually weak in.
The price covers a full closed-loop system — diagnostic, adaptive roadmap, practice loop, Readiness Score, and AI tutor — rather than a standalone video series.
Swapping one library of AWS Developer Associate lessons for another rarely changes the outcome. What changes it is knowing which domain is actually holding you back, and how long it will take to close that gap.
Start with a diagnostic, then decide what to buy. A 20-minute baseline test will tell you more about your AWS Developer Associate readiness than another month of watching lectures.
