About SSC CPO Tier-I Exam
Staff Selection Commission of India conducts the Central Police Organisation, CPO Exam in order to recruit eligible candidates for the posts of Inspector and Sub-Inspector, Recruited candidates will be placed in either of the following posts-
- Delhi Police
- CAPF
- BSF
- ITBP
- SSB
Eligibility
Interested candidates need to fulfil the following criteria in order to appear for the SSC CPO Tier-I exam-
- Is of Indian nationality
- Must have a Graduate degree in any field of studies, or it equivalent
- Male candidates appearing for the post of Sub-Inspector must have a driver's licence
- Is within 20-25 years of age
Exam Pattern
The SSC CPO Exam has three parts-
- Tier-I
- PET/PST
- Tier-II
SSC CPO Tier-I Exam Pattern
The SSC CPO Tier-I exam is objective type. The exam is held online.
Subjects And Their Weightage
The SSC CPO Tier-I Exam has the following sections-
- General Intelligence and Reasoning: 50 questions, 50 marks
- General Knowledge: 50 questions, 50 marks
- Quantitative Aptitude: 50 questions, 50 marks
- English Comprehension: 50 questions, 50 marks
Candidates have a total of 2 hours to complete their exam.
