Interested candidates who would like to appear for the SBI PO Mains Exam need to fulfill the following requirements-
- Is within the age limit of 21-30 years
- Has a graduate degree from a Government recognized University in any of the relevant fields of study
Exam Pattern
The SBI PO Exam is conducted in three phases-
- Preliminary Examination
- Main Examination
- Interview
The Prelims and Mains exams are conducted online. Once the candidates go through the Mains Exam, they are called for the final interview.
SBI PO Mains Subjects
The SBI PO Mains Exam has the following sections-
- Reasoning and Computer Aptitude- 45 questions, 60 marks, 60 minutes
- Data Analysis and Interpretation- 35 questions, 60 marks, 45 minutes
- General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness- 40 questions, 40 marks, 35 minutes
- English Language- 35 questions, 40 marks, 40 minutes
These four parts of the paper have objective type questions.
The final part of the paper is descriptive type and has 2 questions of 50 marks and candidates have 30 minutes to answer.
