About IBPS SO Pre Exam
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts the IBPS SO Exam in order to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Specialist Officer. Selected candidates can have either of the following posts according to their eligibility and exam results-
- IBPS SO I.T. Officer (Scale-I)
- Agricultural Food Officer (Scale-I)
- Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale-I)
- Law Officer (Scale-I)
- HR/ Personnel Officer (Scale-I)
- Marketing Officer (Scale-I)
Eligibility
Interested candidates need to fulfil the following criteria in order to appear for the IBPS SO Pre Exam-
- Is of Indian nationality
- Is within the age limit of 20-30 years
- Has a Graduate degree in fields relevant to the posts, which can be found here
Exam Pattern
The IBPS SO Exam is held in two phases-
- Preliminary Exam
- Mains Exam
Both the Prelims and Mains are conducted online.

- Reasoning- 50 questions, 50 marks, 40 minutes
