About IBPS RRB Office Assistant Mains Exam

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts the RRB Office Assistant Exam in order to recruit eligible candidates for the posts of IBPS RRB Assistant and IBPS RRB Officer Cadre in Regional Rural Banks across the country. The selection of candidates is carried out to fill the following posts-

-         Office Assistant-

●      Officer Scale-I

●      Law Officer (Grade-II)

●      Officer (Grade III)

-         Marketing Manager

●      Banking Officer Scale-II

●      Law Officer (Grade-II)

●      IT Officer (Grade II)

-         Treasury Manager

●      Agriculture Officer (Grade-II)

●      Chartered Accountant (Grade-II)

Eligibility

Interested candidates need to fulfil the following criteria in order to be able to appear for the IBPS RRB Office Assistant Mains Exam-

-         Age-

●      For Officer Assistant- 18-28 years

●      For Officer Scale-I - 18-30 years

●      For Officer Scale-II - 21-32 years

●      For Officer Scale-III - 21-40 years

-         Education- must have a Bachelor’s degree in any relevant discipline from a Government recognised University.

-         Nationality- must be of Indian nationality

Exam Pattern

The IBPS RRB Assistant Exam is held in three phases-

-         Preliminary Exam

-         Mains Exam

-         Interview

Syllabus And Weightage

Following is the IBPS RRB Office Assistant Main Exam syllabus-

-         Reasoning- 40 question, 50 marks

-         General Awareness- 40 questions, 40 marks

-         Numerical Ability- 40 questions, 50 marks

-         English/ Hindi Language- 40 questions, 40 marks

-         Computer Knowledge- 40 questions, 20 marks

Candidates have a total of 2 hours to complete the paper.
