The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, IBPS, conducts the IBPS Clerk Exam in order to recruit eligible candidates for the nationalised banks in India for the post of Clerk. The selected candidates day-to-day activity comprises participating in the daily activities of the bank, and also addressing the queries of the customers.
Eligibility
Those interested in appearing for the IBPS Clerk Mains Exam need to fulfil the following criteria-
- Is of Indian nationality
- Is within the age group of 20-28
- Has a Graduation degree in any relevant field from a Government recognized University, or its equivalent
- Has a basic knowledge of computers

The IBPS Clerk exam is held in two phases-
- Preliminary Exam
- Mains Exam

Syllabus And Weightage
The IBPS Clerk Mains Exam consists of the following subjects-
- General/ Financial Awareness- 50 questions, 50 marks, 35 minutes
- General English- 40 questions, 40 marks, 35 minutes
- Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude- 50 questions, 60 marks, 45 minutes
- Quantitative Aptitude- 50 questions, 50 marks, 45 minutes
In total, the IBPS Clerk Mains Exam is of 200 marks and candidates have 160 minutes to complete the paper.
