JEE Exam Pattern
The National Test Agency, NTA, will now be conducting the IIT JEE in 2022 in four phases. The JEE exam in itself is conducted in two parts- JEE Main and JEE Advance. The students who clear the Main exam can qualify for the next part. The Advance exam helps in the final selection of students who are eligible to secure themselves a seat in either one of the 23 IIT campuses across the country, or in 9 other premium institutes.
Eligibility and Main Subjects
The people who are eligible to appear for the JEE Main in 2022 must have cleared their Class 12 exams in 2020 or 2021, or an equivalent exam, and even those who will be clearing their Class 12 exams in 2022 are eligible. The paper can be attempted either in Hindi or English and can also have other language options depending on the region of the exam center. Though the exact exam pattern of JEE Main and Advance differs, both the exams are for 3 hours and are Computer Based Test (CBT). The main subjects of the exam are Maths, Physics, and Chemistry.
